I think this was a decent movie, but I wouldn't really say it was one of the best video game adaptations as a lot of people seem to think. Then again, the bar is set really low for that. What turned me off about this movie was the CGI. It really seemed off model at times. Then again, I haven't played the 'Resident Evil' games so I can't really compare it too well. It's still the best 'Resident Evil' movie I've ever seen. I thought this would focus on Raccoon City but it's actually somewhere place. If I knew more about the games, I would understand this. At least the name 'Clare Redfield' is familiar to me. There are still really creative things going on in this. The best is probably the monster Justin turns into at the end. I admit it's a bit clichéd with how he fights from the inside, but it's still very well done. I found this to be a pretty realistic movie. The zombie virus manages to be contained. The two main characters do not end up in the end, but of course they could always someday. The dialogue is pretty good even if it's not great. ***
