The Victory II-class frigate was a sword-shaped Republic and Imperial warship. Its design was reminiscent of large command ships like the Super Star DestroyerVengeance due to the large wing-like extension on each side of the ship's rear, as well as its slim outline. It also roughly resembled Vindicator-class heavy cruisers in shape and size, and had a small, slim bridge section quite like the Acclamator-class assault ship.
This ship design was the smallest ship in Astragon's first sector, even defying the rule of 600 meters or more. Then again, the second sector used a few ship classes that defied their normal rule in size as well, so it was ignored.

The 12th Fleet was an Imperial Invasion/ Defense Fleet led by Grand Admiral Lhoom. Formed shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, the 12th Fleet was made up of the Star Destroyer 'The Bloodhound' along with other Imperial Star Destroyers and a couple of recommissioned Venators. Also among them were Arquatines Class Cruisers, Lancer Class Frigates, three Interdictor Class Cruisers, and two Victory II Class Destroyers. Unlike its predecessor, the Royal Protectorate Fleet of the Galactic Republic, the 12th Fleet could operate as a whole, as well as in groups.
The 12th Fleet would also work closely with the 9th Fleet, led by Fleet Admiral Caaris, and other various Imperial Fleets. However, it would usually opperate alone all together, or alone in groups led by the Grand Admiral himself and/ or the senior captains.
The 12th Fleet would serve during the entirety of the Galactic Civil War in the name of the great Emperor Palpatine until the Battle of Crosscrown, a few years after the Battle of Endor. During the battle, most of the 12th Fleet was destroyed, with Lhoom going down with it. The only ships that remained were the ones in the Black Rose Group, as well as a few from the Acklay and Enterprise Groups. Under the command of Captain Spalkov, these ships would serve in the Battle of Jakku, where they too were shot down. Thus was the end of the 12th Fleet.
